The antidote for stress is
relaxation, but many of us don’t really know how to relax! Restorative
Yoga teaches us how to bring balance and a sense of well being back into our everyday lives.
Whether you can take 5 minutes or an hour during your day, you will feel the positive benefits of Restorative Yoga.
In this workshop learn postures
for relieving the effects of chronic stress including back pain, insomnia, headaches,
breathing problems and more. Props allow the body to be comfortably supported
and the spine to move in all directions. Adding breathing techniques and guided
relaxation will nourish internal organ function while calming your mind. You
depart feeling refreshed and renewed. Stay for light refreshments ( outside on the meditation deck weather permitting).
COST: $23 per class. $30 each at the door.

Bring a yoga
mat, bolster, 2-3 blankets, small towel, and eye pillow. Do not eat 1-2 hrs beforehand,
wear comfortable, layered clothing and refrain from perfumes or scents. Arrive
5-10 minutes early to set up.
